The Solar Plexus Chakra 💛🤍💛🤍💛

Solar plexus

The solar plexus is the 3rd and thought to be one of the most powerful of chakras. It is associated with the element fire and the colour yellow. The chakra is located between at the belly button and as the energy flows up from the root chakra, it is thought that this chakra is where our energy flow finds an intention - where we can begin to create and manifest our visions, dreams and desires. In sanskrit it is called 'Manipura' which means “lustrous gem of the city,”!

When have enough energy and are balance in this channel we feel

  • Confident

  • Feel that we have purpose and meaning to our life

  • Feel reliable and responsible

  • Feel motivated to take action and act without procrastination

If our energy in the solar plexus is off balance we may be over or under active in this channel

  • It is is over active you may feel a sense of irritability (as the element is fire, you may get angry or quick tempered)

  • If it is under active you may feel lethargic, unmotivated and a lack of direction or purpose.
